Poetry Friday: Cats Sleep Anywhere

Current Mood: awake
Current Song: I Believe by Jennifer Love Hewitt

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open draw, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

Cold Case

Pictured is Olivia, one of Lilly Rush's two cats from the TV show Cold Case. :)

Yeah, that's one of the things I like about cats...

cat poem

I have been looking for a poem, I believe it's entitled 'Two Cats,' at least that's the opening line. It goes something like this: 'Two cats, why that's 8 paws, 40 claws...." I can't remember the rest. The last time I read it was around 1995.
