A Door just opened on a street -
I - lost - was passing by -
An instant's Width of Warmth disclosed -
And Wealth - and Company.

The Door as instant shut - And I -
I - lost - was passing by -
Lost doubly - but by contrast - most -
Informing - misery -

I like her poems about doors and windows. But, you know, I like doors and windows as themes in everything.

She - overuses dashes - at times
And I don't Capitalize - things -
Like she Does
But your salamander
Must be Nice.

I'm not a huge fan of her poems, though I think they read better out loud than on paper.

Don't worry - the tail is fully functional. I like to remember it as being polka-dotted.
