many thanks

You are a doll to include Zibby Payne & The Drama Trauma on your list.
If you don't already have it, I'd love to send you the first in the series, Zibby Payne & the Wonderful, Terrible Tomboy Experiment (November, 2006. Thanks again, Alison

Hi. I hope the cat check up went well. I realize that the above list is YA, but there is a book out this month that you might want to add to your list. I think any thoughtful person (teens included) would love it. Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman (FSG, Jan '07) is unbelievably beautiful. It's about an affair between 17 year old Elio and 24 year old Oliver and how this brief, yet intense, passion shadows Elio's whole life. It's about many more things, as well, but mostly it's just full of beauty. Have an interesting day.

Thank you! Holly is doing well. :)

I will have to look that item up!

Yes, this is just a FRACTION of my crazy list. I have an adult fic/lit list, both new and backlist releases, contemporary and classic, plus the picture books I'll check out here and there and the juvenile series I keep track of (hello, Disney Fairies!) because I'm simply that nutty.

Thanks for including me on your awesome list! There's a lot to look forward to this year....

I can't wait to read that new short story collection. I could probably use it in one of my English classes (We've been using Sixteen for a while now. I still love it.)

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Of course! Your title alone got me. (I'm an order freak.)

Thank YOU for seeing that the winter months had been accidentally deleted the first go 'round.

I recently read the impressive short story "Eve Goes First" by Sarah D. Bunting in the new collection You're the Best! 14 Stories about Friendship selected by Belinda Hollyer. I also read many of the tales in Destination Unexpected, edited by Donald R. Gallo.

You are welcome! When I read your book's summary, I immediately added it to the list, because the stealing of a book and inclusion of a bookstore bring to mind The NeverEnding Story, my favorite fantasy classic.

Hey from Erin Downing -
Sorry I missed this post - as you can see, I've given up my LJ account...
Can't wait to hear what you think about Prom Crashers - I personally think you'll like it more than Dancing Queen. PS: You are so sweet to have commented on the PW story about prom books to give me a shout out! Little Willow, always watching my back.

Hey Erin! You are welcome. Thanks for the kind comments. Are you looking over my shoulder? I was moments away from drafting something for your contest!

Re: thanx

You are welcome, Alex! The S&S website showed me a different title, so please tell me if Snowbound and Oblivion Road are two different books, or if one was renamed. I don't want to get folks confused here or here. :)

You are welcome! So nice to meet you. I had Back Talk on my Flux post but somehow it didn't merge fully with this list, so I'll fix that now.

I've added you to my friends list as well. :)
