I've read some of Golden's texts--3 books in The Shadow Saga. I believe I also read a Buffy book he wrote. Did he write PRETTY MAIDS ALL IN A ROW? I think that's the one. Perhaps I should read more . . .

RE: Neil Gaiman
I'm not a comic or graphic novel girl, but I do own his. In fact, they're the ONLY graphic novels I own. His short fiction ranges, but there's so many different tones & traits in there . . . really, I think his mastery is all the more obvious in short form. Hmm, I think the only things of his I don't have are the PBs, but I've read them too. He & Faulkner are the only 2 authors I get all "completist" about . . .

Yes, he did write Pretty Maids, and yes, you should read more. :)

The Gathering Dark is the fourth title in The Shadow Saga and (I think) the best of the quartet.

The Myth Hunters, Book One of The Veil, will be in mass market paperback this month; The Borderkind, Book Two of The Veil, will be in trade paperback next month.

The only graphic novels I own are those written by Golden and/or Sniegoski. :) As you can tell, Golden books are my completist need!

Standing for Socks

Standing for Socks is by Elissa Brent Weissman, not Wasserman. She also has another book, the Trouble with Mark Hopper coming out in July 2009
