Poetry Friday: April Showers

April 20th, 2007 (05:46 am)
awake

Current Mood: awake
Current Song: Fatso by The Story

Today, I'm going with a proverb:

April showers
bring May flowers

If the amount of tears I've shed this month is any indication . . .

Well, consider this a big cyber-hug from me then . . .

Apropos to nothing, I remember you saying in your interview that you like Jonatha Brooke. So do I, and I heard her new release on the radio the other day, and it's so very great. I want that CD. Do you have it yet?

Thank you, Jules.

Jonatha Brooke is great, great, great. Yes, I have her new album, and it is grand. Get it!

Ooh -- thanks for the recommendation. I didn't realize she had a new one out. Angel in the House is still my favorite of her works, but Plumb is a very close second.

When I was little, whenever I was upset about something, my dad used to tell me "You will always see the most beautiful rainbows after a brutal storm." I would look at him, like what? But as I've gotten older, I've realized how true it is.

Here's a big hug. And hoping you see lots of beautiful rainbows.
