Poetry Friday: Fireflies in the Garden

April 27th, 2007 (05:44 am)
awake

Current Mood: awake
Current Song: TCM commercial music

Here come real stars to fill the upper skies,
And here on earth come emulating flies,
That though they never equal stars in size,
(And they were never really stars at heart)
Achieve at times a very star-like start.
Only, of course, they can't sustain the part.

Thanks for sharing! Those fireflies will be out sooner than we think. The summer flies by so fast for me . . .

LW, I will help you celebrate the end of April. I know it's been a hard month. I'll do a little cheer for you on May FIRST!

Just wanted to say that,
Jules at 7-Imp
