Poetry Friday: Breath

May 25th, 2007 (05:42 am)
awake

Current Mood: awake
Current Song: Laura score music

Breath is a broom
Sweeping your insides.

Smooth and slow:
You pull scattered bits of dream fluff
And heart dust into neat piles.

Short and quick:
You coax shards of broken thoughts
Out of forgotten corners.

Breath is a broom sweeping you fresh.

- Breath from Twist: Yoga Poems by Janet S. Wong, with artwork by Julie Paschkis

Isn't it? Have you seen the book yet? The artwork is SO beautiful, not to mention symmetrical.
