Poetry Friday: Hyla Brook by Robert Frost

June 15th, 2007 (05:39 am)
awake

Current Mood: awake
Current Song: If I Didn't Believe in You from The Last Five Years

By June our brook's run out of song and speed.
Sought for much after that, it will be found
. . .
A brook to none but who remember long.
This as it will be seen is other far
Than with brooks taken otherwhere in song.
We love the things we love for what they are.

Oh.

You know how sometimes you see just the thing you needed to see, exactly when you needed to see it, even though you didn't know you needed it?

Thanks for providing that thing for me.

I do know what you mean, and I'm glad that this helped.
