Looking Forward: Christopher Golden

January 20th, 2009 (08:02 am)

I invited 9 authors with new releases to help me ring in 2009. All I asked of them was this:

What are you looking forward to in the new year?

Book-wise, there are authors whose new work I'm always looking forward to, no matter the year. Stephen King, Charles de Lint, Walter Mosley, James Lee Burke, and so many others. Movie-wise, I'm looking forward to JJ Abrams' Star Trek. On television, the new season of LOST and the final season of Battlestar Galactica are on my must-watch list. But the thing I'm most looking forward to in 2009 is the inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States.

- Christopher Golden, co-author of The Map of Moments: A Novel of the Hidden Cities

Find out what Golden's collaborator, Tim Lebbon, is looking forward to on Thursday.

Come by Bildungsroman every Tuesday and Thursday in January to discover the plans of other prominent authors.
