hopeful

Current Mood: hopeful
Current Song: Gravity by Sara Bareilles

What's your definition of hope?

Something we all want, and something that can be hard to find and hold on to. It's joyful possibility, and when it comes it may only be for a moment -- but sometimes, a moment is all you need.

What makes you hopeful?

When people believe in themselves. Love. The stars on a clear night, when it looks like you can see forever.

- Elizabeth Scott

Follow my series of hope posts.

Read my full-length interview with Elizabeth Scott.

Read my reviews of Elizabeth's novels Bloom, Perfect You, and Stealing Heaven. Watch this space - I plan to write reviews for Living Dead Girl, her newest release Something, Maybe, and her June 2009 release Love You Hate You Miss You. (As you can tell, I enjoy her books.)

Oh, I heart her books! I only just discovered her late last year, and I think I've read almost everything of hers by now. Bloom is one of my faves, and LDG is completely different from her other stuff. You won't even recognize that it's her writing, I felt. Haven't read Stealing Heaven, but popping over to read your review of it now!

I greatly admire and applaud the variety in her body of work. So good. I was talking about LDG just yesterday. If you liked Bloom, you'll like Something, Maybe, and if you liked LDG, you'll like LYHYMY, but even then, each book is its own, you know?

Me too. Merely picturing that makes me smile. I love looking up at the sky, especially in the early morning and the evening.

Yes, indeed. I like beaches which are calm and peaceful as opposed to those which are touristy and a horrific example of humans overtaking nature! :)
