Garrison Starr is sort of a friend of mine. :) But she moved to Nashville. :( She's awesome.

She was part of the LA music scene for a long time and was one of the regulars at Room 5. I got the live CD of a show I was at by the North La Brea All Star Conquistadors and that "band" was actually Garrison, Adrienne, Jay Nash and Gabriel Mann with my friend Adam Marcello (who I talk about all the time) on percussion. I'm actually going to that place to see Jay Nash tomorrow. Plus I have two of her actual CDs.

It is a small world. I remember finding out that I went to college with (but didn't know) the author of The Spiderwick Chronicles after reading your interview with her on here.
