Poetry Friday: Falling Snow by Amy Lowell

December 24th, 2010 (10:28 am)
thirsty

Current Mood: thirsty
Current Song: Law & Order: SVU score music

The snow whispers about me,
And my wooden clogs
Leave holes behind me in the snow.
But no one will pass this way
Seeking my footsteps,
And when the temple bell rings again
They will be covered and gone.

poem

Snow whispering, wooden clogs, holes in the snow -- great imagery.
