Ah, some more Emily, as you promised! I'm really captured by that "auroral stain." In fact, I just looked up auroral and discovered it can mean not only the aurora borealis, but also the dawn. I hope she had her "perfect dream" again.

I love the realization that if you simply re-calibrate, you can find the hope and/or peace (and/or routine) that you are seeking.
