When I saw the first line there, the very first thing that came to mind was:

"You think you know what's to come."

That shows how ingrained Buffy is in my.

I think you would like his books. Have you read any of them? The Realm of Possibility is told in many different voices, with each character having a different writing style: straightforward prose, poetry, etc.

Read his books. They are fantastic. Gritty, funny, all different styles, all evoking emotional responses.

I posted the poetry snippet this morning, actually!
