Poetry Friday: Dark Knight from Emily the Strange

Long ago, a Strange child cared great for the Beasts.
Her deepest will, to have Dragon slaying cease.
When Kings and Queens ordered Dragons slayed,
Emily took fight and the slayers doth paid.
One girl against hundreds, only cats on her side,
Saved the world's last baby dragon with fiery black eyes.
