Hello Everyone-
I am very proud and excited to announce that we are in the final stages of assembling the long promised collected edition of the first two years of The 52 Weeks Project in a gorgeous hardcover edition with a beautifully written introduction by Ethan Hawke, but we need your help to make it happen. Designing, coordinating and editing a book like this is a serious undertaking unto itself, and covering the massive expenses of printing, distributing and publishing a book even more so. But you can help us with that last part- in fact it is your help that can make this book happen.
Starting today we are launching a fundraising drive through KICKSTARTER to make it all come together in time for the book to make its premier debut at this year's Comicon in San Diego. We're offering an array of rewards for your generous support but we're also asking you to pass this along via email, Twitter, Facebook and simple old fashioned word of mouth to your friends and contacts. Even if you can't financially support us now, spreading the word can help us bring this project to life. As you all know this has been an ongoing enterprise born of pure love for the work, and we thank you deeply for your gracious help and your generous support. Allen and I will both be setting up at this year's MoCCA Arts Festival at the Lexington Avenue Armory this weekend from April 9th and 10th. We'll have loads to see including original work, books prints, copies of the brand new NYMTA subway and bus poster, and samples of the 52 Weeks Book. Please come on by and say hello- we'll be at table numbers C9 and C10.
