Is there such a thing as day?

Hopeful Poem

This is one of my favorite Dickinson poems. Have you ever heard the folk-music rendition by Ted Jacobs?

I always look towards morning when I waken in the night and feel alone. There is something about hoping for the new dawn that is reassuring. Thanks for bringing Emily Dickinson's poem to PF.
