Hey fellow YA fans! Today, Scholastic is kicking off its annual I Read YA Week celebration. From July 10th-17th, they are encouraging readers and writers alike to share their thoughts using the hashtag #YAStandsFor
4 Ways to Celebrate I Read YA Week:
1. Share the "What Does YA Stand For?" graphic on social media. Tag @IReadYA and use the hashtag #YAStandsFor
2. Film a short video stating what you believe YA stands for and share it on Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #YAStandsFor and tag @IReadYA
3. Watch other #YAStandsFor videos on I read YA's Twitter.
4. Participate in the daily social media challenges (see below!) on Twitter and/or Instagram. Tag @IReadYA and use the hashtag #YAStandsFor
Monday, July 10th: Tell us what you believe #YAStandsFor
Tuesday, July 11th: Tell us about the YA book that helped you find your voice
Wednesday, July 12th: Give a shout-out to your favorite fictional literary hero
Thursday, July 13th: Swap a YA book about the positive power of friendship with your bestie
